In all honesty, Does anyone really want to remember it?? for 2 reasons.....
1: It isnt exactly entertainments genius, due to the fact as if i go to my local pub on a saturday night i can see that live, ok without simon and the other 2 overpaid muppets. But with the in house karaoke.It does the same job with the pubs punters howling abuse at the singers (if you can call them that)
2: Lets move on in the world of television, there is a new series out, many more to come no doubt. the first series was only a test to see if us british (or american) public were to get bloody addicted to it or not and guess what........ WE OBVIOUSLY DID!!!!

Shayne Ward won the second (last year's)
Michelle McManus won Pop Idol 2, not X Factor.
Will won the first Pop Idol (Yes Indigo's Mum, he did!).
