Because celebrities told them to, and they can't think for themselves.
But don't make the broad generalization about Democrats. I don't think Joe Lieberman is of that ilk, for instance. But there are a lot of people out there hanging off the left wing by their fingernails---they hate America, and if they'll send me their addresses, I'd be happying to send them a freakin' engraved invitation to get the eff out.

The Dems have always been weak on defense. They are the ultimate posers and have never taken a strong stand against anything that ultimately threatens our existance. Look at what they want to do with the Baker Report (should be called the surrender report). They actually believe the U.S. should enter into talks with Syria and Iran to help us find a 'peaceful' way to withdraw from Iraq. Syria and Iran have been hotbeds of terrorist activity for decades. They both train and support terrorist nations and activities throughout the Middle East. Dems and the main stream press openly badmouth the government and it's action in Iraq, undermining the moral of the troops fighting there and bringing into question the value of their service. In another time, some of their open anti American talk and opinions would have been considered treasonous! We should all pray that they don't accomplish what they say they want to do during the next 2 years and get them voted out in '08! Fasten your seat belt and hold on for your life! More than our political direction is at stake ... the very future of our country is at risk!

you mean legislating morality? oh no that's conservatives, just like Iran...
or do you mean spying on citizens without a warrant? oh no that's conservatives... I bet Iran does the same thing...
or do you mean excusing actions by using patriotism and religion? I've heard Iran do that too?
or condoning torture, which I have heard many conservatives condone? Iran does that?
or maybe it's the war first attitude? Iran and conservaties agree on that too?

Because they have a severe case of guilt for being born into the most profitable and best country in the world. Because of this they believe the U.S.A. must be guilty of subverting the freedoms and economies of the poorer countries for profit. Therefore the U.S.A. must be stopped and punished for it's success.

Democrats believe in Socialism and are against Capitalism, which is our way of life. Socialism is a watered down version of communism. Why do the Democrats want to take all of the money from the rich? It's b/c taking their money away will basically strip them (the rich) of their power to fight back. It's not b/c they care.

Because democracy is not what it used to be. They say us Republicans are corrupt. You haven't seen anything yet. Wait until the Democrats get in there. I hope I'm dead before they destroy our country.
