The nicest thing done for me was by a consultant called Mr David Chadwick at Middlesbroughs James Cook Hospital.
He saved my life.

OMG this is such a hard one.... nicest has to be thrown me a suprise party (tat i Kinda hinted i wntd lol but never dreamt it wud happen) wen i was leaving!
twas super sweet
oh and its always nice wen my mum says im better than my sis

i also got a handmade card for xmas which was super sweeeet!!

Left me an inheritance enough to become established and to pay for my uni education. Really! What a gift for a lad who had little to begin with.

two times...both from my son:
once when he was 4...we had been walking home from playing at the park and i was hot and gross. he wanted me to hold him and i said "but i'm all sweaty and stinky." and he said "you don't stink, mommy...you smell like flowers and butterflys and angels". of course i carried him after that!
then again when he was 7...we were driving home from my dad's and the moon was big and bright and i said "wow...look how beautiful the moon is!" and he was quiet for a minute and said "it looks like the light in your eyes".
*sigh* he's so awesome.

and just this morning, he climbed into my bed after he woke up and said "you're blanket smells good. it smells like you."
*sigh* again.

when I left school a teacher took me aside and told me with tears in hers that I was an inspiration to her, and asked me to keep in touch.
I had a rough year and I had a lot of sympathy, but she never gave me it, she just had faith in me that I could do it, and then at the end of the year she rewarded me with the best compliment I had ever had from someone I respected so much.
