I need a new computer thats cheap but will work. I'm talking really cheap. Mostly all i use it for is internet and typing papers. What would be the best one. Thanks

get either a dell or hp with basic stuff. if youre only going to use internet and type papers, you can get a cheap dell c521 for $359, but without a monitor. If you have your own monitor, that will save you lots of money. Otherwise, get a used one off of a garage sale or off eBay. Also, you can save money by having someone build one for you. Many people who work with computers (myself included), build, or have built computers and will gladly help you find parts, etc. If you have anymore questions feel free to e-mail me @ random_guy7531@yahoo.com

Dell is better quality and the lowest right now at dell.com is 356 for basic. But if you want cheaper than that but not as fast is a HP at hp.com that runs around 250 for basic.

yes,dell is usually the cheapest,Get everything u are gonna need or want when you First order it because Dells dont upgrade very well, due to you can pretty much only use dell parts
