Years ago I bit my nails all the time. Then I was invited to be the maid of honor in my best friend's wedding. I didn't want my hands to look ugly, so little by little I stopped biting them. It wasn't easy, so don't think it's going to be! When I started seeing a little bit of nail showing, I started filing them. Then when I could see nail when I turned my hand around, I started putting nail polish on them. Little by little they got longer and prettier and I loved the way they looked. It's been a long time, and I've never put my nails in my mouth again!

Well, it honestly sounds like a nervous condition, but I don't know too much more about whats going on to say that for sure. I had a cousin that bit her nails and we got her this product called control-it. Below is the site for it. It really worked for her. She said she would bite her nails and not even realize she was doing it until it was too late, but when she had the product on, she immediately tasted the bitter flavor and stopped from doing it. I think it took her about a month to stop biting her nails.
Hope it works.

I shared your problem once. When I started exercising, I felt a lot calmer. that I guess meant tackling the root of the problem. Then I had my nails at the salon. Not long. just barely to the top of my fingers (confidence boosting) leave for 2 weeks to give your real nails a chance to grow, and then pester all your fans (parents, friends, anybody that ever spoke to you about them etc) after a while they will ask you : How the nails? before they ask how are you. Yes it is a lot, but the root problem of confidence and nervousness needs to be dealt with before you can see any growth.

i used to bite my nails too and i tried painting them but then i would just have bitten half polished nails and they looked even worse
i stopped biting when i got tips put on, you dont want to bite fake nails trust me
then when you take them off you might want to go back into the habit so just go to the salon and get a manicure done once in a while, you dont have to go a lot
you'll start to see how much nicer they look and you already would have kinda broken the habit with the fake nails
evnetually you wont need to get them done anymore you just wont want to bite them

There is this product that you can get.You put it on your nails and it tastes horrible so then your less likely to chew em'.Or you could try putting on false nails for a while and let your real nails grow.

pretend nails / information didnt particularly artwork for me the two - so i had an acrylic overlay placed on my genuine nails - you do no longer want it too thick - yet youdefinitely dont want it too skinny the two - it makes them too no longer ordinary to chew - i nonetheless placed them in my mouth sometimes out of habit- yet i do no longer chew on them by using fact they look so good and that i dont desire to debris them up. this became the only ingredient that has labored for me. i admire you became a persistent nail biter - i chew til they harm!! and that i've got tried each and every thing decrease than the sunlight - i had even placed bandaids over my nails previously to attempt to end.... lol good luck!!

This is sarcastic, STOP putting them in your mouth! All jokes aside, coat them with 'Bitter Aloes', which you can purchase at a pharmacy.
