We had royal blue gowns with white trim
Underneath I wore a knee length floral skirt with a silky black tank top and Black flats, I wore flats because of my fear of tripping in front of everyone, I originally bought this really cute pair of heels, but I wasnt comfortable, My suggestion would be find a cooler out fit, because you might get hot in your gown and a pair of shoes you are comfortable in, you can always keep it all black, thats classic.

I wore a dress with actual pantyhose under my graduation gown! Of course, that was back in the '80's, when flip-flops were only worn at the pool, not to the White House...

We had to wear a dress under our gown. Some schools let the kids decorate their mortarboards now, which is cool. We weren't allowed to do that! :o(

darkish eco-friendly is a eye-catching coloration for a commencement dress! My college has royal blue (that's undesirable). i does no longer positioned on a remarkable white dress with the dress, i might pass with a cream colored dress. additionally a metallic gold (yet no longer too vibrant) might look beneficial with the dress. do no longer positioned on purple or pink given which you will look like a watermelon. Like different individuals stated previously, do no longer positioned on a black dress because of the fact it is going to likely be way too darkish. additionally do no longer positioned on yet another coloration of eco-friendly or a blue dress because of the fact it is going to look like it incredibly is from the sea (yet no longer in a good way). different dress colorations to contemplate are nude and likewise a mild pink. i'm hoping you detect something!
