Is online schooling completely crappy or the best invention known to man? I just want to know from some people who actually go online for schooling. And is $1,700 per course expensive for an online program?

Online schooling is good for those people who can't make it to a traditional school to attend classes. It is better than correspondence since it is faster and makes question and answer reasonable in a tight time frame. The price is reasonable for a college or university level course, but if you are doing high school level courses, I agree that it is a bit steep.

On-line schools are expensive. In fact, I was in on-line school for 2 years and I got out of it because I really needed to be with people and meet the professor face to face in some of the classes. For example, I really needed some one-to-one help in math and finance classes. On-line classes can get lonely also because you don't get the kind of interaction as in a campus "old school" setting. I don't mind doing certain classes -- like English Literature -- on-line but there are certain classes which would be better in a live "old school" classroom setting with actual people to interact with face-to-face.

Dr J is way better and has better fundimantels and skills then Kobe. Dr J would lose because LeBron can macth up him in defense and can be danger in offense Dr J would lose because Dirk is decent defender but he can hit jumpers from anyware and to defend his attacks at the basket Dr J would beat Duncan because he's faster, stronger and will use his atheltic abilty Dr J would beat Howard,he will make offensive calls and dominate on offense Darko(Dirk Nowitzki fan)

I go to online college. I love it! It's very convenient... you can do your work whenever you have time. They give you a schedule to have assignments and quizzes done. Otherwise, you work at your own pace. It takes some planning and perseverance, but if you can work unsupervised, it is perfect for you. In my case, online schooling was less expense than in-person college. I work full-time so this is the best option for me.

Online classes don't work for every subject. For example, Accounting or Engineering.

You have to be shown how to do that, it's not something you can understand like History by just reading it.

It's also bad if your internet connection dies in the middle of an exam !!

One of the network evening news programs did an expose on fraud in Online Schooling just recently. Apparently it's fairly pervasive. If it isn't offered by a reputable university, I'd pass on it if I were you.
