My remote doesn't seem to work. I have changed the battery but it still doesn't work...I don't know how to reset the remote. it is a craftman

If it is a craftsmen unit ? take the remote to the store and get a new one free.Nice thing about sears .you get replacemenrts when you purchase there.

If you dropped or bumped your remote a switch inside may have flipped. Many remotes and doors operate on a system in which there are a number of switches in a row, I'm not sure how many but let's say 10. Each switch can be set to left, middle or right. Let's say your remote is set to: LLMLRLMRLL from the first to last switch, the garage door is to match that configuration in order for it to work. But not all garage and remotes work like that, so take a look and see if that's the problem.

I have a Genie and I was able to go to the website to troubleshoot it. Craft should have the same.
