it doesn't matter what level you have if you violate community guidelines. I only report people who ARE violating the guidelines. whether they are using bigoted slurs, advocating violence, insulting people, posting spam, whatever. there are some people around here, I think, who are "violators" who are bitter/arrogant about being reported/suspended a lot who I believe report people out of spite, even when they haven't violated the community guidelines. my message to them would be, don't dish it out if you can't take it!

I've had answers deleted in the Computer Software section. Now, HOW do you answer a computer software question offensively? Serious, you will always have someone complaining sooner or later, just ignore them and keep on answering. Do what the above said and TRY not to offend, sometimes you have to go back and reword answers (trust me, I have) or even delete them because of the morons who push people on here. But, by doing this you save yourself from a deletion letter from Yahoo! and a negative mark on your record. Just remember, there will always be those trying to get you to say the wrong thing.

There's always a reason why answers are deleted. It might not be a 'good' reason, but there's always a reason. If you're smart, you will detect what it is about your answers that someone finds objectionable and simply change the format of your answers to avoid people complaining.

Uh- I'm a "2", I think -
anyway, I have had my answers deleted before because i used a bad word, so I just don't do it now, and i don't get deleated anymore. I didn't mean it as being vulgar, I was just so mad when i answered that i didn't give it alot of thought.

Having a higher level rating doesn't mean you don't get deleted.

The system is totally random....some things that get reported get deleted and some don't.
