well, for me there are good celebrities and bad celebrities. there are a-listers and not so a-listers, there are those who are so far up their own **** its unbelievable and those who aren't, there are talented celebrities and talentless celebrities, of whom in truth shouldn't really be regarded as celebs anyway, there are celebrities who are famous for being good at what they do and ones who are famous for not being good at what they do or for doing absolutely nothing ; eg, paris hilton, chantelle of big brother, nicole richie to name. these ones in particular are the ones you want to avoid as much as possible

Celebrity genre has changed since they first came to be noticed. Before it was on the basis that this individual has achieved something which differentiates them from a normal everyday person. Now who ever is on the media constantly is a celebrity, even if a person has the slightest relation with a celebrity can become a celeb themselves.
As they say "i can make you a celebrity over night"

Well, Webster's Dictionary defines a celebrity as a "famous person." Famous is, in turn, defined as "renowned or celebrated; first-rate or excellent; notorious." I would define a celebrity as someone who has appeared in some form of national media -- television, newspaper, magazine, etc. -- for something they have done that an ordinary individual would not do -- appear in a film, kill someone, hike up Mount Everest, etc.

They are people that are talked about alot in the real world. Some are seen as role model to little kids. Most are stuck up but that don't matter. But that's what I define a celebrity to be.

Get seen in the back shot of a television broadcast,You don't need to be involved in the story or anything & you can be a minor celeb say b or c list, Girls sh&g a football player or Robbie Williams, & your an overnight superstar.
