I rented "The Gingerdead Man" and "Doll Graveyard" and they were both 70 minutes with 10 minutes of end credits.

For a movie to be consider a full length feature, it has to be at least 90 minutes (1 hour and 30 minutes). However, there are lots of exception, like the ones you mentioned or like The Blairwitch Project, Jeepeers Creepeers, South Park: Bigger, Longer & Uncut and so much more. Well I guess that it's more then 1 hour it will do so yeah... and I was wondering that question too, how come some movies are under 90 minutes but are still considered a full length film... I guess will never find that out.

Actually 70 minutes is the minimum to be considered 'feature length'. Most animated, especially older ones, films are only 70 min. long. Most movies ARE 90 minutes, but not because that's a minimum limit but because a 90 minute movie can be broadcast on television without being cut much and still allow for the 30 minutes worth of commercials, broadcast television requires. Broadcasters want movies the be shown in a 2 hour time-frame, including commercials. Less than 90 would allow too much extra time to and over 90 would mean a timeslot more than 2 hours, so 90 minutes is the 'sweet spot' so-to-speak :-) great question!

Peace Out!
