Mooning has been done for centuries and by people of all ethnicity's and sexes. I don't think it considered "gay" unless either you or your cousin then take it to the next sexual level.

Didn't know what mooning was until I read your question and just looked it up at wikipedia. Quite en-lighting, including the pictures.
No, this is not a gay thing. On the contrary, one would think that gays would AVOID such actions.

No, of course not, mooning is not an indication of one's sexual alignment one way or the other. It is an indication of a wry sense of humour.
