Sweetie, if they leave you, they weren't the right one. Don't worry your Prince will come and treat you like the princess you are. I know you're hurting right now, but you'll feel better with time.

First of all, it can't be the right person or you would still be with them!
Right person in that you find your heart is full of love for them but that isn't right for you unless they also have love in their heart for you too.
It is not healthy to view it as being "left" since if you were both on the same page then you would not feel like that. Space can be for many reasons and it may not always be clear as to why they needed the space. It may be more about what they need in their life to make it work for them as opposed to you not being enough or the right one for them.
Especially as we grow older there are personal things that can be only dealt by ourselves, alone. We may not even be able to love another fully until we do come to terms with things within us.
IF this is the "Right" one, allow space and be who you are in this life, don't wait for the other. It is possible the other could find another that would be more full filling to them in their life. This is not a lack in you or about you at all.
Truly love the other. Be happy for them and wish them well.
Unconditional Love is not as easy as it sounds. I have learned it takes a lifetime to learn the art and I am not dead yet!

Simply put, love doesn't hurt. You may love someone, but that in and of itself doesn't mean that they are the right person for you. It hurts so badly, and I think most of us have had this experience before. But when the right person comes along, it won't hurt because they will love you with all their heart and treat you like the special person you are.

It hurts because you have given/shared/invested part of yourself/heart/life. Now the investment is wiped out and there is a hole there.
