If someone switches from living as a man to living as a woman, and prefers women, they're a lesbian.

I've never heard of a situation where a transsexual person went all the way through their operation, and were attracted to their original opposite gender. However I have heard of transsexual people being attracted to either gender. Which would mean bisexual regardless of what gender you are. However if there was such a case, I would consider her a lesbian. Since she is physically and mental a female now and is attracted to other females.

For anyone who accepts her for *who* she is then yes, she would be a lesbian.

(Some places only care about what's on the original birth certificate though, and thus would consider her to still be a straight male. Which, strangely enough, would allow her to marry another girl in a state that otherwise prohibits gay marriage...)

Funny. I knew a DJ at a strip bar who started dressing in women's clothes. One of the dancers who stayed with him(her) said that he was pretending to be a woman but that *she* was a lesbian. It sounded like a ploy to get into the stripper's pants to me.
