Ohh, I think I'd kinda like to slip back into the fifties and recapture some aspects of a "kinder, gentler time" But it's not a place I'd want to stay, because once you have moved on, and got used to all the fantastic developments, and technology that have happened since, it would be one heck of a pain to have to do without them. lol. It would just be nice to dial up a particular memorable time - like a special day, or a special summer for example, when you remember having a fantastic time. Just dial it up, lock it in, push a button and POOOFF But wait a minute, that wouldn't really work either. You had that fantastic time because you were who you were THEN. But you're not that person any more. Too much water has passed under the bridge. You wouldn't act, and interract with others in the same way. And everything that you remembered being soooooo cool, just wouldn't be cool to you anymore. Probably just uninteresting and kinda juvenile. And all the friends who were part of the fun time, they would be just exactly the way they were then. But I wouldn't. I would be ME 21st Century. I'd keep on saying things that related to my future time, and they would think I'd gone bananas LOL. They wouldn't have a clue what I was talking about, and that would probably start a chain reaction where history got altered, and things happening different from the way they actually did, and it would end up ripping a hole in the Universe. Then, because I had changed the past, when I tried to get back to the future IT wouldn't be there any more LOL> I would be out there floating around in an infinite loop, looking for the right door to come back through.
Ayeyeyeye - It seemed like such a good idea for a few minutes. I think I'll stay here.

I would like to try a little bit of all of them. I think it would be cool to live in the early 1900s and 1910s before all the big inventions came out. The 1930s would be during the Great Depression. I'd like to see how people lived thru that. The '40s and '50s because you always see it in the movies and everything looks so cool; the cars, the way they talked, the clothes. The 60s because of all the wars and hippies. I'd like to see how people dealt with those issues. The '70s because back then kids were always outside playing instead of sitting in front of a PlayStation all day. And you didn't have to be afraid of riding your bike down the road by yourself. Kids liked going outside and getting dirty. The 80s because that's when all the cool rock music started. The way they dressed was pretty cool too. Those are the only decades of this century that I didn't get to live thru . I wish I could have.

Probably the 60s or the 70s for the music. The Beatles or Pink Floyd? that's too hard...

I'd pick the 60s, too. Great music, and I'm a total hippie chick.

The 70s because I'm a huge hippie. (well, I like hippie-like things.)
Also, I would like to compare those times with today.
