I just bought the gt5238e from Best Buy and I love it. It's a great deal for the money. I'm normally not a fan of name brands but I just don't have the money to build my dream machine right now and I was having problems running newer games on my old machine. If you plan to play video games, then you will probably want to purchase a video card to replace the built-in graphics. The built-in graphics actually played World of Warcraft just fine even with all the video settings set to their highest level but it couldn't play Battlefied 2 at all. I bought an eGeForce 7600 GTS video card with 256 meg of GDDR3 memory from Microcenter for $100 and it works great. If you don't want to buy a video card then you may want to go into your bios and change your max video memory usage to 256 meg since the default is 128 meg. Again, that just depends on if you plan to play any graphic intensive games. Just keep in mind that the built-in video shares your computer's 1 Gig of memory while most video cards have their own memory. Hope that helps. Good luck.

My opinion on Gateway computers is low. We got a brand new one in 2000 and already had to replace it. Had to take it in to get fixed multiple times. And now they don't have stores to bring them into, so where do you get them fixed.
