My favorite carol is 'O Holy Night.' I love the crescendos in the song- Josh Groban does it very well.

From your 2 choices: I like "Oh Little Town of Bethlehem."
Why? It is very soft and soothing- almost like it's evening and the night is settling. The melody sets a very serene and quiet mood.

O Holy Night is the winner with me too - the lyrics as they were translated work so well with the melody that was written - it's a song that allows the emotion of the lyrics to work well with the energy required to sing it or play it.

O Little Town of Bethlehem is a sweet song that tells a story about a little town of prophecy, and how from small things can come greatness. It can be sung as a lullaby. The emotions aren't as stirring, but are calming, reassuring.

I never really liked 3 Kings myself. It's a little off of corret anyway.

My favorite is "Mary Did You Know", it brings forth to me a lot of emotions. I think the songs words say it best, a mother caring a child, all the hopes and dreams a mother has for her child, did she know, she carried the great I Am?

Between the two you listed my next favorite would be Oh Little Town Of Bethlehem. It has beautiful lyrics, and also brings forth the true meaning of the season. The birth of Jesus.

i've always preferred 'o little town of bethlehem' to 'we 3 kings'...musically, it just flows better-the tempo is more even-'we 3 kings' sounds like it was written in separate parts by people in separate rooms...as for the lyrics, 'o little town of bethlehem; stirs me...i can picture this quiet place where the greatest miracle of all, God sending His Son, is about to take place...
but if i had to pick my favorite of all, it would have to be 'o holy night' its beauty belies its power, much like Christ
