It IS indeed 'Gonna Fly Now'. Played in EVERY Rocky movie because it's the official Theme to Rocky. 'Eye Of The Tiger' didn't come out until Rocky 3! :-) Now the real question is: When is there gonna be a techno version of 'Gonna Fly Now'? You know it's coming. Wait for it. Wait for it.... Wait... ;-)

The song you are talking about is most likely Redemption. Other than Eye of the Tiger, it is widely regarded as the most recognizable movement of the Rocky score.
