No. In fact, most high schools are so retarded, I'd encourage you to skip class and go do something useful. I graduated from a public HS and I'm embarassed to tell my drop out friends, since they obviously knew more than I did back then. I've also graduated from college, which I'm proud of. High School is for idiots.

Not that I know of. However, truancy (or continued absences) is illegal if you are under 18 in most states, and under 16 in many more.

It's illegal to break out of prison and then enroll in a college and study criminal justice, I've been told.
Check with your local authorities to be sure.
