My house is unique and special to me because I grew up in it...it seems so much smaller now!
I love it for many reasons, it's an old summer cabin on the south face of a hilltop in Central California so I get lots of sun all year round. It has vintage pine paneling, a deck and garden out front and a huge back yard for the dogs.
The house and yard are full of my art, I work in many media, and overall has a wonderful, warm, comfortable feeling that everyone comments on when they enter.

It's mine. I feel the most comfortable in it. I find my piece and tranquillity in it. Nothing compares to my home. I am close to everything, yet far away from it all. It's an extension of who I am. When people come over, I want them to feel as though it is there's as well. I want them to feel the warmth that my home has to offer.

My house is the oldest house in my town. It's a brick house with radiators still in use for heat.

I think the main reason is that it is relatively new and nothing much was done to it so I movedin and made it the way I wanted it.... so it has MY touch on everything
