Can I go to Nordstrom cosmetics and ask to have them try different looks on me?

I need to try out different color schemes for New Year's Eve, can I do that there for free? I've always thought so but have never done it..

yeah you can go to any of the counters there and tell them your looking for new colours and they will try a bunch on you or even let you do it yourself.
My wife used to run a MAC counter and they would do it all the time for people
and yes it is free to try the makeup on like that

Yes, you can. You may be required to make a certain amount of purchases for the makeover, but yes, they will try out different things on you.
