Maybe you don't shop at thrift stores, but if you're looking for a wool coat, I highly recommend TJMaxx. I got a really cute wool sweater from there for $20 only. I've gotten many compliments. There are also many neat wool things there.

Depending on what your style is and where you wil be wearing it mostly. If you want something nice to wear to work. JCrew has a lot of nicely tailored ones and they are currently on sale. If you are looking for something a bit more casual for school and work try the Gap or American Eagle.
