My periods have been as follows:

October: 39 days
November: 31 days
December: 34 days and counting

Before October, ALL of my periods came every 28-31 days. I still feel like I am going to start my period any second, but it never comes. I had sex with my bf once this month. We used a condom and he pulled out. We checked the condom after we were done and there were no holes or tears.

I have been cramping and feel slightly bloated. I keep thinking I have started my period but it never comes. Should I be worried about pregnancy? Or is it normal for my period to be this long?

Has anyone ever been late for no reason at all? Or have your periods become irregular after being regular for years?

Honestly, it takes 10 min to go to a store, buy a home kit, and test yourself, why do people keep wasting time asking people online when you know yourself better and it costs about $5.

I would take a test, but seeing that in October your period came after 39 day, I would wait to take the test until you have gotten to or after 39 days. Emotional state, stress, and a multitude of other things can cause irregularity in your menstrual cycle.

I have been late for no reason at all (it happened to me for almost a year) and I was regular before and I am now regular again.

Well, firstly, you said you had sex with your boyfriend once THIS month (December), but you said your periods started being irregular in October.
Secondly, since you used a condom, your risk of pregnancy is not that high. Sometimes stress will cause you to miss a period, or cause it to be late.
If you want to be sure, wait a while and if you still don't start, then take a HPT.

I'm sure your fine. Your body is just changing which causes irregular periods. As long as your period comes you should be in the clear. To put your mind at ease why not buy a test and know for sure?

This time of year we tend to get stressed out. I think you're late due to stress. Since your period are irregular and you had protected sex, I don't think you're pregnant -just a late period. Have you taken a test? It might really ease your mind to see that it's negative. best of luck!

You've obviously had one cycle that lasted 39 days - you'll just have to be patient.

even if you use a condom, it doesn't guarantee a 100% of not getting pregnant. so you may get pregnant. but use a pregnancy tester thing to be sure.

Maybe you should take a few pregnancy tests to be sure.
