I love soap operas because they allow me to live vicariously through others. Sometimes I get so wrapped into it I forget almost that it isn't real and catch myself yelling at the television set.
I like them because the drama is entertaining. It allows me to play detective (trying to figure out who killed a character) or to be imaginative, (wonder what's going to happen next) and so on.
I think they are fun to watch. Some story lines are outrageous, but for the most part, It's all in good fun.
My favorite soap is Days of Our lives.

They have realistic homes, wardrobes, cars, budgets and problems. And they wake up looking like normal people. It's all soooo real.

welll ome people like them because they r a very emotional person who likes to listen to other peoples pains. i personally dont like them but, thats just me

i watch them if i have to and i cant play music but i can think of better things to do with my time
