personally I love Surfer Rosa, my favorite Pixies song is "Where is My Mind?", My favorite member was Kim Deal because she personified what it meant to be an indie rock goddess, and my current favorite band is The Strokes, although I don't know that they really owe much of a debt to the pixies in their sound (except maybe the guitars at the end of the song "Is This It?").
