Okay, the only way you could definately not be pregnant is if you have not had ANY sex in the last 6 weeks or so. The reason is that ALL birth control methods can fail. You can't just go by your last period, if you had sex close to the start of your cycle, than even if your were pregnant, you would still have this one last period before it stopped.
Assuming, you have not had any sex lately, then it is just a change in your cycle. If your on birth control, changed your diet, started working 3rd shift, or just under a lot of stress, any of these can have an effect on your period.

there are quite a few things that can make you late:
- If you are stressed over something
- because you are late you are worrying now which can make you later
- you may of just missed your cycle for this month, if you do not release an egg then it does not create the lining so therefore you would not have a period
If you know your definately not pregnant then don't worry and you will probabily start soon or next month, If there is any chance you could be pregnant then put your mind at ease and do a test

Alot of people assume that because your late then your pregnant, however even if you are regular your period can be late for a number of reasons such as any type of birth control you are on, some medications that you may be taking, stress and the biggest caus ei know of is worrying that you are pregnant! gud luck, and try not to worry.x x

Stress probably, that can mess up your system or if you have been dieting severly and lost a hell of a weight. If anything in your life which has changed, (not for the better) can have an effect on your peroid.

Stress, physical heath, weight may all affect your cycle. If you're concern than go to the doctor for a check up...for it could also be something underlaying that only a doctor might detect.

Have you started exercising lately? When I started taking a martial arts class, I skipped mine for the first two months. Also, very low body fat can cause this.

depending on your age, could be start of menopause, I've had that past 2 months and when they do arrive are very heavy for around 2 days and then normal for 3 days, or you could see a doctor.
