I guess it depends how casual you think everyone else will dress, or what the atmosphere is like at your work. I had my staff party last night, and I just wore jeans and a black shirt with a nice necklace to dress it up a bit. Everyone was dressed casually, but I don't know if your work is like that or maybe more formal.

Be sure you're warm enough; dressing in removable layers would be wise, too, since it's likely to get warmer in the house as more folks come in to the party. As to dress code, if none was given, I'd say dress about the same as you'd wear to work, or maybe one notch down. If you have any Christmas clothes that would be appropriate, wear them. If you know the person giving the party, phone and ask about dress for the party. He or she may want things casual or dressy, and would be glad you asked. Otherwise, go with something comfy that also looks a bit dressy.

If it's formal, I would wear a red or black dress. Make sure it's kind of tight.(You don't want to look like your going to a wedding) And if it's casual, wear some cute dress pants and a red or white blouse.

P.S. I don't know if your a male or female hahaha!
