Sometimes I personally think no. I turn on the TV and see the garbage on MTV and BET. I think "this is what we see as intertainment?" Maybe we deserve to be blown up for what we have becoe in the past 30 years or so! I love western civilization but I don't know if we will survive another 50 years! We have achieved so much since the Rennisance and I don't want to throw al that away but maybe just maybe karma is comming around on places like America and Europe! Radical islamic people view us as week just for letting them in our counties in such big numbers! Maybe we are!........ what do you think I am worried for our future!

I don't think we can "win" a war against a group of people if we are unwilling to try to understand their motives for hating us and wanting to attack us. It is not because we are Christians, or rich. If that were the case, they would have attached Canada, or Sweden. if we listen to them, it is because of things we do, like help kill 20,000 Lebanese. We need to understand what it is they are angry about, and then we can begin to figure out whether what we are doing is right or wrong. One must ALWAYS question his own motives before simply launching an attack.

We can't "WIN" the war. Too many people hate us now and it is getting worse. Probably 40% unemployment in Arab countries so they have lots of reasons to concentrate on religion and how to kill us infidels. Israel only stirs things up with their radical religion.
Some day a terrorist will sneak into NYC I'm afraid with some of GW's WMD.

I don't believe the war can be won. I believe it can be contained. We didn't beat the Nazi's so much as we contained them. There are still Nazi's they just have limited power. We contained the Communists as well but they are still around. As long as there is an ideology then there will be radicals and extremeists that follow that ideology. Without killing each and every Muslim, which isn't reasonable, we will always have radicals. Same with any ideology.
