I think the clear discharge you are describing is a sign that you are ovulating. If it is clear and has a consistency similar to raw egg white. Take extra precautions and give your body time to heal before conceiving again. They usually recommend that you wait until you have had one proper period before trying to conceive again. I'm so sorry for your loss. I have had 2 miscarriages and I know how upsetting and stressful it can be. Not knowing what is going on with your body doesn't help either. Try and relax and give your body time to recover.

you have to remeber that your miscarriage was essentially your period, so you can't possibly have another for at least 28 days or as long your cycle normally is. Also with the hormonal changes that have occured and what your body has been through, it may throw your cycle completley off. I wouldn't be suprised if you didn't have one for another month, and I wouldn't be suprised if you had spotting constantly. The clear discharge could be the predecessor to your period, I know I get that before my period every month. I am sorry for you loss, I have had 3 miscarriages. Hang in there and just don't worry, your body doesn't need the stress. It will take care of itself.

Hi Hayley,
I have had two misarriages at 12 and 10 weeks respectively. The clear discharge you are experiencing is normal fertile mucus and could be an indcation that you are ovulating. I bled for about two weeks after each miscarriage, hen had two weeks or nothing then had my period. After my first miscarriage I started ovulating immediately on my first cycle, after my second, although I was having periods, I didn't start ovulating again for another month.
I am so sorry for your loss and hope that you will be blessed with another child in the future.

This is so funny you asked this! I was wondering the very same thing. I miscarried on 12/3 naturally. Then, about Dec. 12 I had (this is graphic) clear globs come out of me, then stretchy clear discharge. More than my cycles before I got pregnant. I asked my nurse, she said it was pretty normal, but I didn't know what it was. Miscarriage sucks, big time. And then, to have weird stuff come out of you...it just makes the worry grow that much more. It's nice to know that there's others out with the same stuff going on as me. I hope that everything works out for you and that you have plenty of healthy babies soon. Hopefully you are ovulating and that's what the discharge is.

Im sorry for your loss.
Its normal for after miscarriages for your hormones not to straighten out for two or three months. This means it could be several weeks until you get your period again.

you could still be pregnant I've heard of women having mis-carriages when pregnant with twins and only one of the fetus is aborted. Or if you have had sex since the mis-carriage you can become pregnant again. I would go yo your doctor to find out.
Good luck....

It sounds to me like it may be your cervical mucus, means you are ovulating.
