#1 Eric Dickerson - Southern Methodist

#2 Shannon Sharpe - Savannah State

and maybe someday, Marques Colston - Hofstra

He's a rookie so it's too early to tell how his career will go...

I believe the two best players of all time come from not so popular colleges. In fact, they both come from not so popular colleges in the state of Mississippi! Jerry Rice, as you mentioned from Mississippi State University and Walter Payton from Jackson State University.

Walter Payton was a great running back for the Chicago Bears and is 2nd in the history of the NFL in all time rushing yards.
