Replace them with powerful positive reinforcement. Call in your best!

Try to deal with them on whatever level you can, and if they are too overwhelming, please seek counseling. In the meantime, think of anything else you can put your mind to that will take intense thought, like doing your taxes or playing an involving game. Sometimes you'll find that thinking hard about something else for awhile replaces the bad thoughts, and makes them seem less intense when they return. Build a defense, and think about the counseling if it's too bad. Good luck to you!

Answer them with something positive, each and every time! It's a way to "re-train" your mind to form a new habit. Try this for 20 days and you'll be surprised of the results! I promise.

Say out loud, "whee!" Do it with a little bit of a squeal like a child would. It is very powerful. Seriously.

Don't fight them. Just acknowledge them, then replace them with positive ones ... thoughts of happiness and well being.
