The older one from the 80's where he and an alien are stranded on a deserted planet and have to learn the other's language, which they do which leads me to my actual question....
Can to beings in seperate rooms teach each other their own language and learn the other's without seeing or touching each other... esssentially, using only the sense of sound (hearing) and time, I guess, .... seeing they would be holding a conversation, so to speak.

thats "enemy mine" and that alien also has a baby, and then the human has to raise it after the father dies, anyone remember the name of the baby?
