no n has what is probably the correct answer. The only George Washington commemorative coin that appears in my appraisal book is a half-dollar, issued in 1954, which is worth about $10.00. It shows Washington on a horse, on the obverse and a depiction of Mt Vernon on the reverse. Acoin shop could help you, but it seems as though you have a commemorative "token," and not a commemorative "coin," unless it is stamped with a dollar value on it.

dont take it to just a coin collector. Find a nuismatic that appraises coins. and remember a coin is usually worth 25-35 per cent more than what you will be offered, but thats how appraisers make their money. You may want to contact a museum or historian. It probably has historic value and it may belong on display.
