Hello,
I am interested about the so called "ebay consignement".
I mean if I buy some top selling item at ebay...like PS3 and then resell it for a little higher price again on ebay...could I earn reasonable cash motnly by doing this scheme?
Has anyone experience in this?
Thanks alot!

I used to do a lot of selling on ebay, powerseller even. A ebay rep brought up items I was selling that were VERY collectible. I got more then one very nasty emails from other sellers of the same type of collectible item I was selling shouting how I am bringing down the market of such items for I was selling so cheep!! I new sellers were buying up my items. When one person buys hundreds of your item, it is not rocket science to figure out :0) Anyhoo I made a VERY good profit selling these items AS IS, making it perfectly clear I had done no cleaning, no nothing with these items why they were so cheap. It did not bother me in the least these were going to resellers. They made me a powerseller and I was making good money. If you do not want your items to sell to other sellers you will have to put some effort, even money to refurnish, clean up etc. your items, and put a price on it that represents it's true value. Even not caring if it does not sell, you are advertising your other items in that auction right? The other seller has made him/herself a reputation of selling quality, higher end items, not "AS IS". Or has made people think there stuff is lol!! Do not worry about it, you are making money, right? This is why you are there? Business is business it is a dog eat dog world! Nothing personal when it comes to business even though people will want to be friends to get better "deals" from you.

yeah if you work at it enough you can get some serious cash! a friend of mine is sick and can;t work much, so she's been ebaying for a while and rakes in like 3,000 a month. of course she's got a lot of useless crap around her house waiting to be sold, but someone will eventually want to buy it. good luck!

Anything is possible but its rare unless you get a outstanding deal. And every thing that is bought and sold is recorded for any and every one to look any your previous item and the price it was bought or sold for.
