Yes,
bictor717 is correct. In the algebraic structure known as a ring there's what's called the 'zero ring' consisting of just one element called zero.
I obeys the rules for it's structure so that
0*0 = 0, thus 0 is the multiplicative identity (plays the role of 1 for a field) called '1'
0+0 = 0,.thus 0 is the additive identity (plays the role of 0 for a field) called '0'
Real numbers and complex numbers are both a field. See how this single element plays the role of both 1 and 0.
Thus 0=1.
Many math graduate programs have a running joke about it. They choose one grad student as 'keeper of the zero ring'. It's either a great honor or a bit of a joke, or both.

Math is not my strong suite,,I feel Victorious making correct change for a $1,,,LOL
How about when an Exponent is 0?
2 to the 1st power = 2,,??
What's 2 to the Zero Power?
Just the number itself,,if I'm not mistaken.
Which would be 2.
It's Different than Multiplication,,where 2 x "Nothing"= Zero
Exponents are like,,,"2 multiplied by itself X-number of times"
So 2 multiplied by itself ZERO Times,,,,is 2
Then whats the value of ZERO?
2 x (n)=2,,,solve for n
n=1
Therefore ,,the exponent ZERO must equal 1
It's odd,,,but maybe easier to see when you try to add exponent numbers
(2^2) + (2^0)= 6
4 + 2=6
Maybe I'm mistaken,,but I think thats how ZERO can have a value of 1
Dont hold me to that,,I can only count so high on 11 fingers.:)
Happy Holidays!!
May all Your ZERO's be X's,
and None of Your One's be Zero's ;)

In the ring {0}, since there is only one element, it is both the multiplicative (1) and additive (0) identity. It's a special or trivial case that you might forget to consider when you're writing a general proof.

Maybe not scientifically, but love and sex are two completely different things! Love is an emotion while sex is a physical act. Making love is simply an expression to keep people from being crude when they refer to the sex act itself. And love, being an emotion, does not exist in the heart, but in the brain. The heart is only an organ that pumps blood. The reasoning part of your body is the brain!!!

a=1
b=1
a = b
Multiply by a
a2 = ab
Subtract b2
a2 − b2 = ab − b2
Factor both sides
(a − b)(a + b) = b(a − b)
Divide by (a - b)
a + b = b
Substitute for their real values (1)
2 = 1
Subtract 1
1 = 0
