When I was younger, I used to visit this thing at the convention center in town called Festival Of Trees where local designers decorate trees that the trees are auctioned off to local businesses to display while the proceeds go to a local children's hospital. There must have been over 100 different themed trees in one big room, and every year the themes were different. They had some really creative ones. Harry Potter, LOTR, seashells, snowflakes, Tucsan garden, etc.
Pick a theme that fits your personality and tastes. Then go from there.

The best theme for a Christmas tree is the "Homemade Theme." We do this every year, we used Christmas ornaments that have been passed down or made through the years. It gives a special feeling to know that something you have made hangs on your family Christmas tree!

Whatever reflects your personality. If you are feeling blessed this Christmas have a bountiful assortment of glittered fruits and vegetables on the tree with coordinating ribbon with balls and sentimental effects. How ever you feeling is how you should decorate your tree. Feeling a little metro-sexual, try a black and silver theme, etc.

Go with what looks right in your room, if your decor is country than do country, if its masculine put up a masculine tree. Go to the drug store and browse in the magazines like Town and Country, Better Homes and Garden, they have all their holiday magazines out and they can give you great ideas.
Merry Christmas

The best theme for a Christmas tree is to make it your own. Decorate with handmade ornaments, and make it your style, your own.

Your question jogs my memory of my grandpa (tearing up right here). My grandpa constantly wanted to have all blue lights furniture on the christmas tree, yet my grandma in simple terms used the coloured lights furniture on the grounds that's what they had. My grandparents used to return over to our homestead on christmas eve to swap presents, and one 12 months, we taken aback my grandpa with all blue lights furniture. it extremely is an extremely pleased memory of him. thank you!
