I'm sorrry,I have been asking so many stupid questions,but I can't figure it out!
My Math teacher didn't explain to us how to do this. As I said,I'm sorry. I know they are easy but,when it's all new to you,and nobody explains it,it can be a little difficult.

When you multiply the top of the first by the bottom of the second it is equal to the bottom of the first times the top of the second. Basically for your problem it would be 48 times 52 all divided by 25.

Okay, this is a cross multiplying problem. All you need to do is follow these 3 easy steps.
1.) Multiply 52 and 48. Which equals 2496.
-You multiply these 2 numbers b/c its the only information you know so far. And your trying to isolate the variable x.

2.) Divide 2496 by 25. Since its the only number left. Which equals to..

3.) X=99.84

cross multiply 48*52=25*x
so 2496=25x
divide both sides by 25
x=2496/25

.5208 = 52/x

.5208 x = 52

x = 52 / .5208

x = 99.84

25 / 48 = 52/x
