Come on you must be joking-right?! Buy them their own pressies as once they become parents people forget that they are actually individual people. You could always buy them something for the impending baby as well - look in Mothercare there are some lovely gift baskets with bits and bobs in. Happy shopping!

Hey Pinkie, my advise to you is if they have not already told you what they would like as a gift then I would suggest giving them some money so they can buy what they need. Alternatively, you could always get them some Mother Care vouchers to spend on clothing.
Just a few ideas.
So your gonna be an Auntie huh, well Congrats to you

why don't you get them a voucher for a portrait, they can then choose to use it now or when the baby is born but it would be nice for them to have a reminder of how she looks with a bump, either that or get a kit together with alginate and plaster of paris and mod rock and do a mould of her pregnant belly....i'm so doing this next time i'm pregnant.
good luck finding a present and have a merry christmas

How about one of those baby books that it like a journal where they can record first tooth, first smile etc and insert pics and memorabilia. They could do that together and it would also make a fab keepsake. WHsmith sell them I believe.

buy a baby swing. we used a brilliant one called an aquarium swing. i think it was fisher-price and it was a total godsend. they'll really thank u 4 it. our daughter loved it and it got her off to sleep in no time so we could have a bit of peace and quiet/watch a dvd or whatever

the best present we got when i was pregnant was a gift experience that you can get from boots / virgin or online. It was a photo shoot with a free photo at the end. it's such a special time that would be great for them to look back at one day.
