sure it can happen for various reasons, such as depressive thinking pattern. You get yourself down for no reason. Or it can be biological depression, or pms. Yes it happens, dont'let it get to you!

Yeah- only I've learned that most of my 'sad for no apparent reason' down times are directly related to PMS... that sort of helps- I can listen to music, take a walk, focus on other stuff and not get so depressed by it...
