my back brakes went out on my mustang and it looks like there are brake pads in the back. someone told me that they are as easy to get off as the front( ive done front breaks before but not the back) if not what are the differences between the two.

The rear calipers are different , need special tool to
screw in piston into caliper

If they are disc brakes they are the same as the front. If they are drum brakes you need a couple different tools, just lay everything out and remember how you took them apart. I just lay the parts on an old white sheet so I can put them back in the order they come off. I think though you have disc.

they are very easy to do if you have done front disc brakes they are the same if disc and if drum very easy also
