This is mainly for those that don't believe in Global warming, though all are welcome to answer. I'm curious, even if you choose to believe global warming isn't happening (and I could understand that), I assume you must realize that the pollution in the air is still a very bad thing. Even if you don't believe it is raising the temperature of the earth, it must have a hand in destroying our capacity to breathe (with all the contaminants in the air) and almost certainly is related to rise in cancers and other diseases.

I am curious as to why you are against environment protection ideas; even with the lack of global warming (and there is very strong evidence it occurs; but for purposes of argument, I'm willing to say it isn't) the danger to us is remarkable. Why specifically are you trying to get rid of environment protection laws?

And for the record, I understand my question sounds accusatory and like it is meant to put some on the defensive. It is not meant as such, tone of voice doesn't translate well on the computer. But I really am curious as to why there is still so much resistance to environment protection from so many.

The influence of man on this planet is very short compared to the history of the earth. There has been huge shift in climate, weather, and the environment in the past. Man has only been recording weather and climate change the last 3000 years, and the farther back one go the less accurate the information is. Everything on the earth, is from the earth. Water, Ice, H2O, H + 20. same thing, different forms. By changing the volume of the various material we change the climate. Does the flutter of butterfly wings in Borneo create a hurricane in the Caribbean? I believe that the environment is and should be a great concern of everyone. No one wants to live is a trash dump. Laws are made by politicians motivated by politics, and the laws made should be reviewed as to if these laws are effective and achieving what they were enacted to for. I do find allot of environmental policy, based More on politics and less on science. If the root problem on the planet is man then the elimination of man from the planet would be the correction. Right?
