Yes because someone usually brings you drink and refills it, takes you empty plates, and 15% is OK

The last guy that responded to your question doesn't know anything. His dining rights should be taken away! Yes, you should leave a tip. The nations tipped employee wage is 2.13. Most of that salary goes to pay their taxes. So, when paychecks come around, theirs are voided out. Some buffet servers may make 5.15 an hour. Let's be realistic, anyone who works as a server, does it for the tips that they make and not the voided out paycheck.

I do not tip if all the server does is to bring the drink to the table. If I have to request something that they have to go to the kitchen for I will leave a tip. If the server has a bad attitude I leave nothing. If the food is not prepare correctly or if it cold, I ask to speak to the manager. Many times I have been given a discount or a coupon for the next time that I come back to that restrauant.

I think it's a nice thing to do if they bring drinks and clear the plates on a regular basis. They only get a fraction of the salary that anyone else does so be generous and give them a tip! They'll be thankful to you.

Yes! You can give the waiter/waitress a tip. Don't give a tip to a person who is serving badly. I suggest paying $1-$5.
