i gotta say batman begins on this one. as a film, it's very stylish and the mood is perfect; the characters are all engaging and interesting (even katie holmes - shock); the plot is complex enough and not ridiculous - the addition of the ninja clan was a very nice touch; and bale's portrayal of batman was hands down the most intense out of any of the batman films. the 1st michael keaton batman was also very good, but mostly because of nicholson's joker - probably the best performance by anyone in all the batmans.

I believe the recent Batman movie...Batman Begins (2005)...was the best Batman movie I have seen. Although I enjoyed watching George Clooney and Michael Keaton as Bruce Wayne/Batman, I really enjoyed how Christian Bale depicted the character. Christopher Nolan casting Michael Caine as Alfred was incredible. I loved how Alfred wasn't the "stiff" butler like he has been in the other movies. The movie also dives into how Bruce Wayne evolved into the Dark Knight.

The first one with Michael Keaton. It really changed my view of batman that I had held since I was young and watching superfriends. I thought he was just a dorky guy with cool toys and a gay lover. Then when Keaton did Batman he was this dark, edgy sort of dude and was just a serious bad@$$. Jack Nicholson as the bad guy was classic as well. Itall went downhill after that.

Batman Begins - coz it was directed Christopher Nolan. Christian Bale is the best batman, hands down! Can't wait for the next installment, "Dark Knight" - due out in 2008.

I'm torn between the first and second Batmans. Jack Nicholson was hella bad and Michelle Phiffer was too sexy. Plus they were both done by Tim Burton. I guess I'll just say the first Batman. Go Joker!

Batman Begins I think is the best one. It was more realistic than the other ones. Batman Forever, Batman & Robin SUCKED!!
