Ive just watched 'A view to a kill' with Roger mortis, what a pile of crap. Id forgotten just how bad it was. Bad story, bad effects and laughable dialogue.
No wonder they reinvented Bond with the new film.

The early Bonds were quite good. But there have been some real stinkers.

Any others?

Moonraker - they went into SPACE! Come on, I expect a bit of reality bending but seriously? SPACE. It just pissed me off way too much. Also George Lasenby is seriously crap in "On Her Majestiy's Sectret Service".

The new one is ace though.

I'd vote for "Moonraker;" that was the point during the Roger Moore era when Bond became a complete and utter JOKE.

Fortunately, the franchise got a gigantic shot in the arm from the new "Casino Royale," and Daniel Craig is the best Bond since Connery. In time, he might very well surpass even that icon.

It's not the worst one, that is "The World Is Not Enough". I find "A View To A Kill " quite watchable but definitely one of the least good Bond films. The blonde girl and the fire engine chase are awful but I like Christopher Walken, Grace Jones, and the airship bits and the ridiculous chase round Paris are quite entertaining. I generally like all Bond films but I can't remember what happened in "The World Is Not Enough", I also hate Denise Richards who is all lips and teeth like Billie Piper but a less good actress - a physicist called Dr Christmas Jones ha ha ha ha ha! I don't like "Licenced To Kill(t)", but mainly because no one in it is likeable, and recently watched "On Her Majesty's Secret Service" and decided it was actually quite a good film, although George Lazenby is rather wooden. Generally I like the Sean Connery films best, but the only one that is really terrible is "The World Is Not Enough". A waste of Robert Carlyle.

All the Roger Moore films are worse than all the others; but I agree with you - "A View to a Kill" is the worst Bond film of them all.

While I have a soft spot for the Roger Moore Bond because I grew up with him, I have to agree with you about how bad "A View to a Kill" was. Another one to avoid is the absolutely terrible "The Living Daylights" with Timothy Dalton. It's total sh*t.

All the Timothy Dalton one(s), the wrong actor for the job, as for "A view to a kill" I think that is when they started to realise that it was stuck in a groove with the standard gadgets sexy wonen(no prob there) and big end scenes, pity it took so long to change things though as thought Casino Royale was brilliant and much more how Flemming intended.

A View to a Kill is dreadful. Any film where you can genuinely say that Grace Jones was the best thing in it must be a pile of poo.

I thought the original 'Casino Royale' was pretty poor- it was supposed to be a comedy, and it had people like Woody Allen in it, but for me, it just wasn't funny.... Bond doesn't work that way at all...

The one with George Lasenby or however you spell his name as Bond. For Her Majesty's Secret Service is the movie I think.
