No. But you've offended me by your question. When will you realize that Happy Holidays is not a replacement for Merry Christmas, but a wish for all holidays be they christian, jewish, whatever, and encompassing all holidays between Thanksgiving and New years?

Jesus is the reason for the season, so go ahead and wish everyone a Merry CHRISTmas. If they get offended, they'll get over it. There's a lot worse things going on in the world for them to be worried about that. By the way, I'd also like to wish you a Merry Christmas also. Have a great day.

I always feel like wishing a Merry Christmas to all of my friends, since a majority of the world celebrates it. But some celebrate Hannukah and some don't celebrate any major holidays. Just wishing someone Happy Holidays is the best choice if you aren't sure what they celebrate. Merry Christmas! =0)

You shouldn't be offending anyone by wishing them a merry christmas! If someppl don't celebrate or believe in christmas, they hear about it during this time of year, so theyre probably used to it. I say its very kind of you to say this!! Merry Christmas to you too!!!

Unfortunately, the politically correct environment we live in makes us feel bad about give out a great wish to every one we meet. I am a reforemed PCer and only Say May Christmas. If I know someone is of another faith, I ask about thier religion and learn more about them as a person. I will not be afraid to give people a joyous greating - especially with 84% of americans at least recognize christmas - religiously or not.

Christmas, while a Christian holiday, is celebrated by many people in a pagan manner. Do you know anybody who isn't Jewish that celebrates Hannakuh?
Most people that celebrate other holidays will most likely not be offended if you wish them a Merry Christmas...
But you can always play it safe and say "Happy Holidays" or "Season's Greetings."
