I have trouble sleeping all the time, but there are several things that work for me. Sometimes watching TV can shut off the thoughts that would otherwise keep me awake, or I read a book that I have on hand for just such occassions. It's really dry and boring, and about a chapter into it I'm ready to nod off. If you have a book like that handy, I'd recommend reading it now. You could also try drinking a glass of milk and eating a banana, I've heard this can help to relax you and induce sleep. If none of these work for you try lying in bed and concentrating on your breathing, try not to think of anything but the air moving in and out of your body, this should calm the mind enough so that you can drift off. Hope you catch some shut-eye tonight! If not, at least know that you'll be so tired tomorrow, your bound to have a good nights sleep then!

since ur on the internet, download some relaxing music, while waiting for the download to finish, drink a cup of warm milk..and do not eat too much! After the download is finished, get a pair of headphones, and turn off the lights, lay on ur bed and think of happy thoughts, or u can just listen to some music on the radio while u lay in ur bed

Insomnia (sleeplessness) is due to stress, dietary and medical
problems. By making small lifestyle changes like having a fixed
daily routine, relaxing and eating properly, insomnia can be
cured. I found the information at http://tinyurl.com/jfzpz useful
for getting sleep.

1st get a drink of WATER. not milk. And then change your pillow. Lastly- read a good book until you are more tired. Then turn off the lights and close your eyes and try to not open them.
