Yes you can fall in love more than once, and yes each time is different. I am 52 years old and I loved dearly 3 times. The first time was when I was 21... he broke my heart and I didn't love again until I was 27. I married him and had a wonderful family, sadly I fell out of love with him but didn't really admit it until I fell in love again at 51. This love is an impossible love for many reasons. I have been on a roller coaster of emotions for 18 months. Falling in love is impossible to predict and impossible to control. Sometimes it is a truly wonderful thing and sometimes it is indescribable torture. But for every moment of pain there is a moment of true happiness not to be missed for the world.

You can fall in love every day if you wish....

There are loves that destroy us, and loves that empower us.

I've had one of each, plus a handful of loves that I never discussed with anyone, including the other person. Some of those still remain after many, many years.

My late wife almost took me to the grave with her...that is how much I loved her. It was a very destructive kind of love. Not good for me at all.

My present girlfriend is a sort of "light, non-demanding" sort of love. Very beneficial at least to me. She says it is also to her.

I am still in love with a few people I knew well over the course of a long life. I never told them then, and I certainly wouldn't tell them now.

Hi - I have just posted a question myself and I didn't realize that there are sooo many caring people out there. Im not sure you can fall in love twice. I am going through a very painful trial separation and its killing me. I am truley in love with the man I am apart from. I have never felt this way about anyone before and not sure that I could ever could again if he doesnt come back. He is my life and my soul mate. Another thing, I didnt realise how much I would hurt witout him in my life.. xxx

yes, I think that you can and each time is different. The only thing is there is only one soul mate for every person but what is the chances of meeting this person? There is allot of people living in this big world of ours and you haven't even met 1% of all of them. And also falling in love with someone is not the same as loving someone.

no it doesn't happen once. it can happen a lot of times. it depends on how open your heart is.
it happen too me about three to five times, in only three years.
now i have girlfriend that i love her sooooo much i do anything for her. and she will do the same.
now that is what i called real love, so listen to your heart when it comes to love, not your head!
anyways how i got to her was really romantic
she use to be popular and i wasn't, it was when i was 13, she had a bf but then she broke up with him because he cheated on her.
then i saw her sitting alone in the park, it was really scary, i mean i was the dork of the school. so anyways, i went to try to make her happy and then suddenly she holds my hands and it just happened, i really liked her before she noticed but now i her bf
i mean how cool is that, now i can even kiss here.
don't worry , you will find a bf that will love you the same way i love my girlriend.

nope, everyone is different and every love is different. You need to define falling in love. That will help you see. When you have children you fall in love with them instantly. no matter how many you have. I know you mean a different kind of love, but you need to understand that all love is different. But love all the same and doesn't mean any less.

You can fall in love many times with different people and love can be different from person to person. I am in love with two men now. One is my husband, one is my best friend. My husband knows i love my friend but it is a non-sexual love, a love of deep attachment from having been companions for a long time. He has always been there and always will. When i met my husband he joked that i was a pair and to be with me was to also be with my friend.

I love my husband. He is my soul and my rock. I would rather loose myself than him. It is simple really.

You can absolutely fall in love more than once. It just depends on the level of love and admiration you have for theat person. You can only be with one person in your life, so I guess you can say you'll never feel as in love with another person as you are now.

I personally used to think that I loved this guy, things didn't work out for us, but I still love him. Now, I'm in love again but I love my boyfriend more than I love my ex. I love both of them, but I love my current boyfriend more.

It wud be nice to think just once.....just to know that there is only one person out there for you, and you were meant to be. That you were made for each other. Ive only ever been in true love once.....still love him like i did all that time ago when we first got togther!
