welcome to the world today. Atrocities like this continue today. in a few years you will see similar things about Darfur. And if iran has their way it will happen on an even worse scale in Israel. We need a body that is stronger than the impotent UN to step up and stop these from happening.

The major problem here is that it was wrong, but everyone did wrong in that war. Americans had the camps for the Japanese where many were starving and cold and given no assistance. We were running our own concentration camps, but no one says anything on that end. Blind allegiance, no matter what (no matter which side). It is that blind allegiance then, and our blind allegiance now to the idea that America is infallible (and other countries do the same); it is that blind allegiance that causes these wars.

Each of these leaders wants power, and uses that allegiance to get everyone on the bandwagon to fight others. To kill without any mercy or remorse (because they are bad and we are good). No one questions (for fear they may be called unpatriotic) and all the prisoners and civilians pay the price. Learn to think for yourself, not for the government.

Japan doesn't cover its history. They know there were lots of tragedies done by Japan. It is not only about the Nanking.
That is why Japan have been released so many apology statements, more than 35 times.

However, when the world recognize individual historical issues, scholarss in the world NEED exact data for their verification.

You know Iris Chang, she released one book before.

Japan also asked her to release this book in Japan.
And also Japan needed her to add exact data with the book. But she refused. And what happend to her finally? I think if she is right she should continue to release this kind of book more.

One can only be shocked and offended if one is human. The Japanese actions in Nan king and Manchuria were horrible. They are somethings worst than war.

I read and heard about nanking in China. I think that was before WWII. Horrible, awful. Humanity out of control.
