"Quality, not quantity" is a good quote for this one..

Go for the quality of the clothes; if 2 lower-priced items have a great quality, choose them! Why not save money and have quality clothes at the same time?

If 2 lower-priced items are cheaper-looking, are hard to wash, get holes constantly, etc. then obviously spend those extra few dollars to get the clothes that will last the longest.

i would prefer buying two lower priced items because lower prices doesnt always mean ugly or poor quality clothes. the only real reason that people buy stuff from hollister of abercrombie is because it says hollister or abercrombie on the shirt. it is just an advertising scheme, and it's sad to say that the clothes still rip and get stains and also go out of style so you should buy more clothes because some girls in my classes wear the same shirt three or four times a week because it cost 99 dollars for a krappy tee shirt.

Honestly if you want a clothing item that is going to last, Go expensive. I find that if I get cheap clothes, they do not last or hold up as long.
