I just had a miscarriage, too. I had some trouble with the d&c and my doctor said it was fine, not to worry about having it come out on it's own. About the grieving process: First I was so sad, then I was irritated that the missed miscarriage wasn't expelling, then I was okay with it, but now I get sad again, especially when I look on the internet. My doctor told me to wait 3 months to try again. I haven't started my period yet, so I'm not sure how trying will go. My thoughts are with you. It completely sucks to miscarry and I was/is devasted. Good luck trying again. I'm sure you'll be fine.

Grieving is different for everybody - you'll just have to go with your own process. It's not always necessary to get a d&c with miscarriages but at 4 months it would have been a good idea because of the size of the fetus at that point. If it's been a while and there've been no complications so far, then you're probably just fine without one - your body has cleansed itself on its own. You usually have to wait 3 months after miscarriage before trying again.

I had a miscarriage about 3 weeks before i got pregnant again..I am now 6 months pregnant. I think the only way to get over it is to accept it and know that it was a baby and it was YOUR baby ..and dont ever forget your baby when you realize that it will be all better. Give him or her a name and keep your ultrasound. You may not have had to have a d&c if it was a complete misscarriage in which most are. The doctors will tell you to wait about 3 months before trying again..I started after a month and it has all worked out so far!

If your healthcare professional has scheduled a D & C I might move forward with that the next day to come. Tell your healthcare professional on arrival how you're, and he might think again. The intent of a D & C is to ensure there may be not anything left on your uterus that would purpose an illness later. An illness later would impact your potential to get pregnant once more. It is tough, I recognize on the grounds that I've been by way of it. I was once sixteen weeks pregnant in Nov 2002 whilst I miscarried. I had the D & C. I had a comply with up appt with my healthcare professional in early January. He informed me I would begin making an attempt once more if I desired to. I was once pregnant by way of the tip of January, and added a healthful youngster woman in Oct 2003. We do not regularly recognize what existence has in retailer for us, however I feel the whole thing occurs for a motive. This did not deliver me relief regardless that, till I held my youngster woman in my fingers and discovered that for some thing motive, she was once supposed to be with me. Take care.

I'm not sure about the grieving process, but about getting pregnant again. I think you should wait a few months to give your body a chance to recover. Relax and enjoy not being pregnant. Then when you're ready to try again, good luck!
